It comprises four key elements for all students at Key Stage 4:
Careers Guidance Hillsview work in partnership with Routes 2 Employment which are Matrix Accredited. Mike Guymer - Adviser: mguymer@hillsviewacademy.org Elaine Barker - Adviser: ebarker@hillsviewacademy.org Allison Walker - Team Manager: allison.walker@redcar-cleveland.gov.uk Students receive impartial advice from a Level 6 qualified Careers Advisers. 1:1 meetings take place with students to discuss a full range of opportunities available to them and students are given an Individual Action Plan to help them stay focused and achieve their goals. We also work in partnership to deliver a variety of group work sessions to all Year Groups (including Year 6 transition).
At Hillsview we also have excellent working partnerships with local businesses including Middlesbrough Football Club, High Tide Foundation, PD Ports and Barclays Bank to name but a few. |
