Very many Hillsview Academy students are celebrating their Year 11 results following their publication on the 25th August. The number of students achieving C grades in both English and Maths GCSE (Basics Measure) has risen to 48.3%, with 44% of students gaining at least five good passes including a qualification in Maths and English.

Our highest performing Year 11 students were Sam Al-Tamimi who secured 7 As and 3 B grades, Sophie Bird who secured 2 Distinction*s, 1 A*, 3 As and 3 B grades, Yasmin Greer who secured 1 A*, 4 As, 4 Bs and 1 C grade and Katelin Middleton who gained 5 As, 3 Bs and 2 C grades. We wish all of these students great success in their Post-16 studies.

Principal, Mr. Doug Elliott, says “Despite a period of change and instability, Hillsview Academy has continued to make steady improvements this year. I am very proud of our students and staff – this is a wonderful school community. Whilst we still have a lot to do, I am pleased to recognise that we have consolidated results and can now say that Hillsview is on a firm foundation to get back to its best.”
